| Apart from the formation work, Marist College is also actively engaged in responding to the call for Ecological conversion. They have worked on this within the compound of Marist College with composting, organic gardening, and permaculture. They extended their activities into building up the Dawasamu holiday place, a two hour drive from Suva, into an Ecological Centre. The students have the opportunity to learn and to put into practice when they go into ministries. The centre is also extending training on ecology to the local communities around Dawasamu. | |||
