The Sector of Bougainville, under the leadership of the vice sector delegate, Fr Austin Magara sm, came together for their annual retreat in Hahela. They were also able to celebrate the Feast Day of the Society, the Most Holy Name of Mary after the retreat. Their sector delegate, Fr Brian Sigere sm, is still stranded in Rome after the renewal in La Neyliere. Hopefully he will be able to join them soon. We joined them also in praying for the new President, Ismael Toroama, as the Autonomous Government of Bougainville, together with the people, took on the responsibility of its journey towards independence.
